![]() Parking can be a bit costly-but it can be avoided with the yearly pass (with parking) or the Discovery Cove pass (love this) I wouldn't try to visit just once- with Florida's famous and infamous weather, you can except delays or need to seek a cool place to cool off. ![]() All have been a great value and recommend all to visit Busch Gardens. We have used year passes, city-passes and passes from going to Discovery Cove to go to BG. (BTW not a big fan of the new ice skating show-but the explorer ice show was the kids favorite) When we plan an all day visit we often buy an all-day dinning-when you do this you need plan to get the best value from the dinning pass. We have also planned "zoo" day- visiting the animals and tours and then just going to the programs. For example we have planned a ride only days-hitting some of the (IMHO) best coasters. You can plan a different adventure each trip. It is a family value that all in our family ages 3-72 enjoy. We enjoy Busch Gardens for our visit to Tampa. I will not be wasting my time or money at Busch Gardens Williamsburg again this experience ruined it for us going forward. This was highly disappointing for such a major park. In other parks' fast queue programs, you can sit wherever you want. You did not have a choice of where to sit. Finally, on some rides, only one row of the coaster was available for Quick Queue pass holders. On one ride, we weren't even asked to show our pass at all! Ride ops were clearly not prepared for this program or trained properly. In MOST cases through the day, the ride operators' Quick Queue devices would not scan our passes at all or they wouldn't even try to scan it at all. Seriously?!?! Secondly, unlike other parks, not many rides had a separate Quick Queue line you basically entered through the exit of the ride, getting bumped by riders exiting the ride. Busch Gardens' guest services only suggestion is that we pay $35 to use their cell phone charging station. ![]() When arriving to the park, we only brought one cell phone to take photos and, when hearing that we had to use our cell phone, were concerned about the phone dying during the day. ![]() You either need to bring your printed ticket from home (carry it with you all day and try not to get it wet) or, in our case, show your ticket on your cell phone all day. Busch Gardens, first of all, does not offer any kind of bracelet, portable device, or even paper card for their Quick Queue passes. We are what you would consider to be avid theme park enthusiasts we visit theme parks across the country many times per year so we've seen what works and what does not work. We have visited FIVE of these parks in the past year: Dollywood, Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Great Adventure, and Kings Dominion. Dollywood's TimerSaver, Six Flags' Fast Pass, and Cedar Fair's Fast Lane have all worked perfectly for us. Busch Gardens has not grasped the concept of upgrading your park experience with faster queue passes as their competitors have done so well. ![]()
